Halum Vascular

Dr. Ramon Halum is a board-certified interventional radiologist physician who specializes in vascular interventions.  He's spent the last twenty years practicing at prestigious institutions including Medical College of Wisconsin, Wake Forest University, and Indiana University.  Dr. Halum has been practicing independently over the last three years, with his primary mission to use vascular interventions for restoration of patient quality of life.  Currently,  Dr. Halum  is a top provider for patients with knee pain due to osteoarthritis, using a procedure called "genicular artery embolization" to resolve knee pain without surgery and no down time.   He also manages critical limb ischemia, thereby preventing lower extremity amputations for many of his patients.  For female patients with uterine fibroids, he performs uterine artery embolization which helps resolve the chronic pain and bleeding caused by fibroids. Finally, for patients with venous disease, he offers venous treatments that resolve leg swelling and the pain associated with varicose veins.  Regardless of the disease, Dr.  Halum works with each of his patients to find them the best individualized treatment plan.
